Greg is a contemporary folk artist, who writes dark soulful songs infused with internal demons, enticing lovers and stories of ragged, booze infested towns. He performs as a solo artist and as a duo with bass player, Nathan Arnaud (channeling an air of John Martyn and Danny Thompson). Greg also plays with a full backing band (as featured on his EP), giving a more powerful dimension to his lush sound.
As a singer / guitarist / banjo player, Greg also features with Sark’s* finest export, The Recks (described by Drowned In Sound as, ‘the new kings of schizophrenic folk’). Check them out here therecks.co.uk
Greg continues to be a highly accomplished violinist playing on a range of different projects from grunge to bluegrass and folk, including regular outings with the Channel Islands’** favourite street band, The Rectory Hill Skillet Lickers.
