Greg is a contemporary folk* artist, who writes dark soulful songs infused with internal demons, enticing lovers and stories of ragged, booze infested towns. He performs as a solo artist and as a duo with bass player, Nathan Arnaud (channeling an air of John Martyn and Danny Thompson). Greg also plays with a full backing band (as featured on his EP), giving a different and more powerful dimension to his lush sound.

After a summer of festivals and touring in France he started working on the rebirth of Sark’s* beloved band, The Recks (described by Drowned In Sound as, ‘the new kings of schizophrenic folk’). The new lineup is promising bigger and greater things. Check them out here therecks.co.uk

Greg continues to be a highly accomplished violinist playing on a range of different projects from grunge to bluegrass and folk, including regular outings with the Channel Islands’* favourite street band, The Rectory Hill Skillet Lickers.
